Asus A52F-series is a good laptop with good fit and finish. The features included are also great - HDMI output lets you connect your notebook to a larger screen and watch HD movies, where you can get. Speed is more than acceptable for all but the hardcore user, and includes the memory is also quite adequate. Installation is pretty easy on the first run and only takes a few minutes. The accompanying numeric keypad is a nice touch, and the keyboard itself has a nice feel. The overall impression generated a lot of lovely comments, it is very thin and well made.
Like most vendors, including Asus a lot of software (bloatware) that is completely unnecessary. I spent more time trying to remove the silly additions than I did to configure the machine, and if you're not picky, you can find some of them useful, but I personally do not need it most. Although the touchpad is much like any other, despite the description - you will probably need to adjust the sensitivity so the cursor does not move when you are resting your hands on the house. Battery life is average.
I would highly recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a new machine, hardcore gamers want more horsepower, but this unit is a great day drivers.
